Grab a McMurdo R2 VHF Handheld and equip your boat with a day to day communications radio that is fully GMDSS compliant and meets all ETS300, IMO, EU MED (Ships wheel), FCC & SOLAS regulations! The flexible McMurdo R2 Radio complies with all GMDSS emergency radio requirements when fitted with a Lithium Battery pack (Part No. 84-210). General VHF radio usage can be accomplished with R2 by using the R2 re-chargeable Nicad Battery Pack (Part No. 84-211). Both rapid and trickle chargers are available for the R2's Nicad Battery.
The Handheld R2 VHF Radio supplies 19 Simplex channels and operates in your choice of the following modes: dual watch, scan memory, squelch, scan all, scan priority, tri-watch, illumination control, 2.5W / 1W selectable transmission power.
